Cable TV Ratings for the Week Ending June 14

In light of the NBA Finals, which cable TV programs were able to claim victory this week? With more than 7.1 million viewers, the season premiere of TNT’s "The Closer" led the second-place show, powerhouse "WWE Entertainment," by more than one million. Interesting fact: "WWE Monday Night RAW" was recently purchased by Donald Trump. In third place was USA Network's "Royal Pains," a hit series that chronicles the life of Hank Lawson, a concierge doctor in the Hamptons.

For the first time in a very long, long time, Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob SquarePants" did not make the top twenty list. With about 3.4 million viewers, the popular kids' program landed at No. 28.
