Millions of Americans Not Ready for Digital TV

For more than a year, the threat of analog television's end has been looming in the distance. Tomorrow, the long-awaited digital transition will go into effect, but millions of American's are not ready for the switch. The DTV transition was meant to take place in February, but the Obama administration postponed the change in hopes that more individuals would be prepared by June. Was the delay successful? As of February, 5.1% of households nationwide were unprepared - no converter box, satellite or cable TV subscription. Today, 2.5% of homes are not ready for the June 12th digital transition.

If you are among the 2.8 million individuals that aren’t ready to say goodbye to analog TV, you won’t be able to enjoy your favorite TV shows 24 hours from now! How can you ensure uninterrupted television service? You have two options: 1. Get a converter box from your local retail store; 2. Order satellite or cable TV service, and enjoy your favorite local channels in addition to hundreds of America’s favorite networks!
