After three years of being in a relationship, another celebrity couple has decided to split. Nick Lachey, former star of hit TV show "Newlyweds"with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, and Vanessa Minnillo, MTV celebrity, have confirmed the break-up with People online. Rumors of a budding romance between Minnillo and "Disaster Movie" co-star Matt Lanter have been circulating, but both parties have denied this claim.

The announcement of the couple's break-up is somewhat unexpected, as less than a month ago the couple told People Magazine that the relationship was "very much still on." A lot has certainly changed, and quickly. According to Minnillo's rep, "they have amicably split, but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another."

Only time will tell if the rumors involving Matt Lanter are true. Unfortunately for Hollywood celebrities, secrets such as these are impossible to keep in the public spotlight.
