Cable TV Ratings - 4/5/09

For the week ending on April 5, USA Network landed the top five positions thanks to NCIS and WWE RAW. The second-place network, Nickelodeon, occupied positions six through eight with Penguins of Madagascar. SpongeBob SquarePants held a top ten presence, barely, as the week’s tenth most-watched TV program. According to Nielsen Media’s Cable TV ratings, the hit children’s program grabbed three of the top twenty positions for the week. This is a dramatic decrease in viewership, as SpongeBob SquarePants (including one airing of the SpongeBob Movie) held nine of the top twenty slots last week!

Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor delivered an impressive audience, filling four of the top twenty slots. The O’Reilly Factor made the top ten, as the nation’s ninth most-watched TV program for the week.
